I think it was on an episode of 'Wrecks to Riches' with Dominic Littlewood.

It was showing you how to spot a 'ringer' and they used a black pt to show you where to look for the tell tale signs.

Channel 4's documentary series "What If", this was a few years ago. In the episode "What if the Oil runs out" you would have spotted a red customized PT Cruiser queueing with about 50 other American cars trying to get fuel and in the driver and passenger seats were Mr & Mrs Khrome Kruiser. It was filmed in a petrol station in Greenwich and made out to look like an American Jet petrol station.

We had a great time with the guys from the other American car clubs and it was definitely a good experience. If you ever get the chance to do it, don't hesitate and go for it. kk
