New extension added - Media Embed

An official phpBB extension that allows video and audio content from lots of 3rd-party sites to be embedded in forum posts and PMs, using a [media] BBCode, or from simply posting a supported URL in plain text.

Features:
• Parse URLs from media sites (using the [media] BBCode or plain URLs are supported).
• Embedded content is responsive / mobile device friendly.
• BBCode FAQ page has help for embedding media content in posts.

• There are many more which can be activated - please ask to see if included.

How to use:
Look for the screen icon on the 'Post a New Topic Toolbar'



Copy and paste the link (URL) from a supported site, highlight (select) and click on the icon.
This will place the [media]...[/media] code around the link.
Plain links (URLs) are also supported, ie. no [media] code, but it's best to use the code if possible.

Facebook
Desktop/Laptop: Post on a page: mouse over post, right click, copy link, paste in. Success will depend on the page's privacy settings.



Post in a group: If there is an option to share, copy link, paste in. Success will depend on the group's privacy settings.
